KTWO (AM)
KTWO is an American radio station licensed to Casper, Wyoming operating on 1030 kHz. KTWO broadcasts a 50,000 watt signal from two towers located east of Casper near Hat Six Road. KTWO is also very well known for its news department. It features short news broadcasts throughout the day, as well as a half hour nightly news program at 5pm entitled "Wyoming Tonight." In addition the station also offers news broadcasts from FOX Radio News. Weather forecasts for the station are provided by Cheyenne, WY based "Day Weather."

KTWO can be heard in almost all of Wyoming during the day. During the night, KTWO has been reported much farther distances, such as Southern California,〔(Socal DX logs )〕 and Flagstaff, Arizona〔(Flagstaff DX logs )〕 domestically. It has also been received internationally in the Netherlands〔(QSL Card sent to Netherlands )〕 and Japan.〔(DX Logs )〕
At night, KTWO uses a directional antenna pattern that pushes most of the station's transmitting power to the west. This is in place to protect clear channel station WBZ in Boston, which is also on 1030. KTWO operated on 1470 kHz until 1976.
